At one point, my son saw the movie "Bullitt" and was impressed by the 1969 Fastback Mustang driven in the movie by Steve McQueen. He was so impressed that he bought this AMT kit of a 1967 Mustang Fastback with the intention of building it himself. For whatever reason, he never got around to building it and gave it to me. Since he has always been fascinated with detailed models, and has enjoyed many of the kits I've built over the years, I decided it would be a nice gift to built it for him.
