Being the detail oriented person that I am, I decided to try to preserve some of the fine detail that the kit offers. The headlight cover grilles are clear plastic. I decided to drybrush some black on them to allow the headlights that would be mounted behind them to show through. I even painted the area behind the headlight lenses bright silver to make the headlights more visible. As you'll see later, it was a complete waste of time.
